Kirksey purchased 70 licenses of ArchiCAD in 1998. After learning the software, I developed office templates, a master library of GDL objects, and an automated project organizer/start-up application. The entire staff attended a one-day training session within a two week period that was provided by Graphisoft. I then developed a custom training program that helped new users learn ArchiCAD using our templates and standards. This was very successful in flattening the learning curve. Now, new employees are able to be productive in the software after their first week of employment.
